                 Independence  Day in India marks the end of the British rule in India in 1947 and the establishment of a  free and independent nation in the Indian nation.

 Here is a small essay on this day.

                   A red-letter day in the history of India is august 15,1947. Indian achieved independence on that day after a long struggle and countless sacrifices India became free from the British. But in the battle, we lost many great people, and many more lives lost in the battle.

            The British ruled India from 1757 when, following the British victory at the battle of Plassey, the English East India company ruled 100 years. Then the first world war started in 1857 at that time the independence movement started by Mohandas K.Gandhi, who advocated for peaceful and non-violent and to British rule.


                   India became free. the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India hoisted the national Tricolour flag on the red fort. The celebration takes all over India with great joy and pride. In Delhi the capital of India.

                   our great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, and Rani of Jhansi are remembered for their many sacrifices and sufferings they had gone for our freedom this day is also remember for our duties and responsibilities towards the nation. not only this day but all the days we should remember our duties and our responsibilities. 


                Our freedom fighters struggled for our countries to make us free. Furthermore, they were the ones who sacrificed their lives for our country.in schools and colleges, there is an organization for various functions in this student performs acts to represent the struggle of our freedom fighters. 

                 Moreover, these students have a solo and your performance of patriotic songs. And other further activities are being done on this day. There will be a lot of speeches about the great leader and that will be represented by the teachers, children's, principles of the schools, and colleges.

                 The prime minister will also give a speech and address youth on this special day. The youths of our country can change the nation as it is rightly said that the future depends upon the youth generation so it is our duty to the nation. And make every possible effort to make our country better one of the main motives of the celebration of independence is to make our youth awake.

                  It has been declared as a national holiday when all the schools, offices, colleges, universities, education institutions, organizations, companies and etc remained closed.

                   

                   

                      It is celebrated biggest celebration in every school, colleges and other educational institution by the student they participate and perform in dance, drama, singing, playing indoor games, outdoor sports, cultural activities, quiz, etc.

 During the celebration first the national flag is hoisted and the chief guest, school principal, and other all present over there will sing the national anthem with fluent and the drum, and then there will be march fast.

         This is the biggest celebration event is organized by the government of India at the Rajpath, India Gate in the national capital New Delhi where people of all religions, cultures, traditions gathered to listen to the patriotic speech of our prime minister. by celebrating this event we commemorate those all great people who sacrificed their lives and loved ones making India an independent country.
